Day 4 - (05/06) Drasco, AR (Day 2)

This was a day to put the finishing touches on Eric and Lauren's wedding.  The set-up, rehearsal, wedding and reception all take place in Little Rock ... an hour and forty-five minute drive away!

Jim prepared breakfast to go with fresh cinnamon rolls from the Drasco bakery.

Bobbie designed, baked and assembled two beautiful wedding cakes.  The finished three-tiered bride's cake will include hand-made sugar orchids and a lighted tier support.  She worked all morning finishing each tier.  You can see the finished cake tomorrow.

Larry Couron (Jim's brother) and his wife Jackie arrived from Iowa around noon.  Jackie and Bobbie spent the early afternoon working on the groom's Chevy pick-up.  It's made of Rice Krispies and fondant. It will sit atop a chocolate cake.

Bobbie and Jim left for the rehearsal at 3pm.

Larry, Jackie, Carol and Dick left for the rehearsal dinner at 5pm.  Dick drove and Jackie demonstrated use of their Garmin GPS (known as "Babe") to get us to Cajun's Wharf Restaurant in Little Rock.  Carol and Dick were smitten and decided they needed a GPS.

We enjoyed a lovely reception dinner and got back to Drasco about 10:30pm.  Here are a few pictures from the dinner.
