Weather – It's 95 degrees. Humidity is 60%, but feels much higher. It's sunny with a light breeze. We think it’s hot, the locals don’t.
St. Augustine – We finished sampling the old town’s history by touring the fort. It was too hot to do more.

Campground – Stagecoach RV Park has been a great find. The facilities are very well maintained. It’s quiet, close to I-95 and about 15 minutes from downtown St. Augustine. They have a model airplane field at the back of the park … the owner is an avid control-line model builder and flier. It’s a nice place, run by nice folks.

Did you know? - St. Augustine is the oldest permanent European settlement in the continental US.
- The Castillo de San Marcos Fort has existed for 338 years and has never been taken by force.
- The fort had 77 cannons; some could launch shot more than 1 ½ miles.
We had dinner at Cracker Barrel, finished off the laundry, spent about 2 hours cleaning love bugs off the trailer windows, and reviewed our travel plans. We're heading for Savannah, GA tomorrow.
